Andrew Bird – Soldier On EP
Andrew Bird is one of today’s most talented musicians. Listening to him makes me feel more intelligent. Right now, he is touring with a new EP entitled, Soldier On, that has only been released at his recent shows. It will be available to everyone soon. If you want to hear some new music from Bird, his Bob Dylan covers, and some reworks of some of the songs you already know, then check it out. I highly recommend this EP.

Oh my… thank you for How You Gonna Keep ‘Em. It’s a favorite song of mine, from 1918, and I have piano sheet music for it. Judy Garland sang it in For Me And My Gal, and I’ve been a bit in love with it ever since.
And now I hear Andrew Bird make it even more fabulous. Swell. =)
After listening to “Oh Sister,” I’m falling in love with the sound of Andrew Bird. The sound is definitely sophisticated with the mix of violin and guitar in there – the lyrics and overall tone are also very moving. Thanks for bringing this out!
